Basic info:
Lebanon’s capital is Beirut. The country is bordered by Syria to the east and north, Palestine to the south and the Mediterranean sea to the west. It is a relatively small country: 10 452 km2. The official language is the Arabic. The currency is the Lebanese Pound, know by “Lira”. Concerning the religions there are 18 different religious sects.
